FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DOES GLOW WORK?
The science is basic. Inside a Glow Necklace plastic tube, one liquid chemical (which includes special fluorescers) is separated from another (an activator) by use of a glass capsule. The tube is then sealed.
To activate, the user bends the Glow Necklace on its entire length, enabling the two chemicals to mix, interact, and produce GLOW. For more information about the science of glow, click here.

IS GLOW SAFE?
Yes! The Glow Necklaces are safe and non-toxic. They do not produce heat, flames, or sparks, and may be used in areas of combustible gasses or liquids where ordinary light sources might pose an explosion or fire hazard.

HOW LONG DOES THE INTENSITY OF GLOW LAST?
The duration and intensity of the GLOW varies inversely: the longer the duration of light, the lower the light intensity; the greater the intensity of light, the shorter its duration. The Glow Necklaces glows for up to 8 hours.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE?
If the original packaging has not been damaged, the Glow Necklaces should have a shelf life of up to two years.

IS GLOW AFFECTED BY TEMPERATURE?
GLOW works best at room temperature. It lasts longer but becomes less intense in cold temperatures; conversely, it GLOWs brighter but lasts for a shorter period of time in hot temperatures.

Note: Glow Necklaces are not recommended for use by children under age 3.
